Winter... a time for festivals and food and the warmer the better, the cozy sweaters and coats to cover you up, the colorful scarfs and mufflers keeping you warm... wonderful time of the year around the world. Someone truly said, "if it weren't for winter the spring would not have been pleasant"
Winters in Bangalore has its own charm; the bright blue skies and tonnes of flowers that you see around you... be it on the streets, that small chai shop on the corner or the temples by the streets. But the most amazing experience is the the cool breeze that keeps blowing and the not so very hot sun embracing you, Aaah! You want to be by the balcony all day long.
Quite the opposite being in Boston after being hit by a blizzard the experience is mesmerizing. You walk out of the balcony on a chilly morning and you see clear blue skies and the entire city in front of you covered in a blanket of white soft cotton the sun beaming down and the very next minute you realize that you have started following squirrel trails left on the snow. And while you experience this nothing to beat the piping hot glass of coffee that cools down to the perfect temperature.
